Rattlesnake research at the Phoenix Herpetological Society

From Major League Baseball to local folklore, the rattlesnake is a symbol of life in Arizona.

But rattlesnakes can also be pretty scary — particularly when one shows up in your backyard. Up until now, we haven’t known much about how these creatures interact with humans. KJZZ The Show's Ian McKinney spoke with one Arizona researcher who’s out to change that.

The mullet: most people either love it or hate it. Jenny Wells specializes in mullets and shags at Altered Ego Salon in Tempe and showed The Show’s Amber Victoria Singer how the infamous cut is done.
